About the Artist

About the one who holds the brush,

Most of my pieces are painted, with acrylic on canvas with additional pieces with mixed media.

My process is very simple, I listen to feeling and paint it.

The work I do comes from the heart, an extension of my life experience. Each unique shape, colour and line is a direct extension of the feelings or thoughts present in the moment of creation. I am forever inspired by the poetry of life, for all its colours and motions. The brutally beautiful, the painful and pure joy. The colours in every painting scape of nature, the experience of the internal world, to feel, to think, the perception and reality of how we choose to receive it. It's messy, chaotic, confusing, confronting, divine and bold.

I've always loved painting, from a very young age, my passion is in the Arts. In 2018, during my final years of secondary school I began to understand it as my purpose. A language and way to communicate what I feel words sometimes cannot. Colour has become my greatest medicine, to express tangibly something no physical matter can touch, replicate or do justice. With a paint brush in my hand, my heart pours and I can truly listen to what it has to say.

Thank you for being here,
With love, Leticia
